Welcome to my website, and let me introduce myself. I am Samantha-Jane and I am a Fine Art Portrait &Creative Wedding Photographer from Dumfries and Galloway in Scotland. I am based between the whole of Scotland & France. I have been published in magazines such as “The Unfinished Mag”, “Stellar Exposure”, “The Bold and the Beautiful” , Photography and More”, ENVYD magazine, & Color Shot Magazine. I have my images exhibited at Shambellie House &The Glasgow Gallery of Photography. I hold a BA Hons & MA in Photography.
I love telling your story through the photographs I capture during our session, wedding, event or portrait, they all have a story to tell. I tailor each one uniquely & individually to your needs and personalities from shooting to editing.
Photography has always been a passion, long before I decided to do it professionally. I will work with you one to one all the way from preparations for a wedding to the details that you just have to have in a portrait session. I employ three different techniques when I shoot a wedding, I shoot candid to convey those moments when you just forget I am there, Traditional posed, which looks more editorial with a fine art edit, and lastly, creativity. That could be smoke bombs, Wedding Day sunglasses, mirrors, double exposures and many more.
My aim is to be accessible to everyone, putting my heart and soul in to every shoot regardless of the budget. During your Wedding shoot, I literally am your wing woman on the day, guiding you through it making your day individual to you!

We hired Samantha for our August wedding around a year in advance, the whole experience was just wonderful!! Whether it is a commissioned portrait or a beautiful group session, the outcome and methodology is the same. We work together collaboratively and make a great portrait in a setting of your choosing. Maybe a 1920’s style shoot or a work shoot or candid family portraits, I can cover all of this and at a great price, have a look through my images and reviews here and on social media.
I have undertaken 4 commissions, and many styled portraits. I have captured wedding days, engagements, events and baby portraits.
